What should I do if I forget the combination or the number dials are stuck on the RL-9046 cabinet lock?
If the combination is forgotten or the dials are unresponsive, use the bypass key to unlock the lock.
Once opened, rotate each number dial slowly until it clicks or stops—this will display the original preset code and restore the lock to full working condition.
This recovery method is commonly used for combination cam locks on cabinets, lockers, and access panels in commercial and industrial environments.
Why are the top two dials on the RL-9046 combination lock stuck or not turning?
Please check the mounting screws located behind the top number dials. If these screws are overtightened, they may cause the dials to jam and prevent rotation.
During installation, please tighten the screws manually and moderately. Avoid overtightening to ensure smooth dial rotation.
