Glad Hand Lock for Trailers & Containers - REAL Locks
Glad Hand Locks are a common interlocking coupler for semi-trailers, trucks, and railroad vehicles.
With the gladhand lock, the emergency air-brake hose from the tow vehicle cannot mount on the trailer. It is important that only when the air hose is connected can the trailer be mobilized. In this essence, gladhand locks act as a safety measure instead of a security device because they prompt the driver to connect the hose before towing the trailer. REAL’s RL-9153 gladhand truck locks are robust and allow for hassle-free operation.

Glad Hand Lock is designed for protecting the air hose of truck (tractor side) and container (trailer side).
The gladhand lock, also called the trailer air-brake lock, is a type of truck trailer lock designed to prevent your semi-trailer from being thieved. While a kingpin lock for the trailer prevents the kingpin from connecting to the fifth wheel, the gladhand lock restricts the air-brake hose connection between the truck and the trailer. Both are good means to deter the approachability of the trailer to the tow vehicle.
The lockout device fits most glad hand connections and can be installed or uninstalled in seconds with a key.
